We live in a world where decision-making is driven by uncertainty and strategic interdependence. From choosing a route to work to negotiating in business, our actions and decisions affect others, and vice versa. The Game Theory course offers a deep dive into the mathematics of decision-making, where every step counts and every decision can change the outcome.

The course programme is aimed at developing skills in modelling strategic decisions based on behavioural and political game theory. Its main advantage is interactivity, where participants will play practical games and try to explain the behaviour of other participants

The desire to achieve the best result is called rationality in game theory. Every rational player must consider the rules of the game, the interests and capabilities of other participants – that is, think strategically. Game theory provides a tool for analysing such situations, allowing you to better understand behavioural patterns and causes of conflicts, learn how to make decisions under conditions of uncertainty, establish mutually beneficial cooperation, understand how to influence the course of negotiations, distinguish between manipulative actions, etc.
