Generative systems. How they work and how they are broken
In this lecture, we will look at how Big Language Models and other generative systems emerged. We will find out what is new about them and what are their main architectural elements. Will models really take away people’s jobs and why Jan LeCun doesn’t think so.

What level of performance do systems demonstrate now and how is the AI arms race going on? We will try to understand what Prompt engineering is and why some believe that it is a profession that died before it was born, as well as what LLM agents and RAGs are. We will see why some models believe that 9.9 > 9.11 and what jailbreaking is. We will try to generate complex images and break some models.

Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Senior Research Fellow, Professor at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of UCU.
For the last 20 years, he has been researching in the field of game theory and multi-agent systems. He is one of the organisers of the UNLP conference dedicated to the development of methods for processing natural Ukrainian language.
