The project was implemented in cooperation: Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhiy Nyzhnyi, Association of Small Cities of Ukraine, with the support of the Swiss-Ukrainian EGAP program implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation.
The goal of the project is to prepare community leaders to build sustainable, dialogic, and effective interaction with management teams at various government levels and community representatives. The main tasks are to ensure the safety of citizens and preserve the functioning of local systems in the context of conflict and recovery.
The course program is aimed at promoting self-knowledge, reflection and self-improvement, which helps to become more aware and effective in their status. Based on real-life situations and cases, as well as practical assignments, participants had the opportunity to improve their project management, strategic decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

The course includes master classes with experienced mayors and politicians, as well as inspirational speeches by prominent Ukrainians.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn valuable skills that will help them become successful in the field of sustainable community development. They will learn effective communication, interpersonal skills, critical and creative thinking, emotional management, and time management. This course will help develop soft skills that will become an important tool for effective management and development.

The program includes visits to the “innovative cores” functioning in Kyiv.
