Ukraine-USA Teleconference: Support Programs For Wives and Families of Veterans

The teleconference is organized by the Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhiy Nyzhnyy in partnership with the NGO “Green Stripe” to share experience in implementing a comprehensive program to support veterans’ families, especially their wives, who are ” pillars of support” in reintegration processes, providing motivation for economic independence and socio-political activity of veterans. In particular, they will discuss programs for veterans’ wives implemented in the United States and announce the All-Ukrainian Comprehensive Program “Veteran’s Wife,” which will soon be implemented at the school as part of the Platform for Interaction of Public Organizations and Formations to Promote Veteran Policy.

Establishment of a scholarship

During the event, the launch of a scholarship project for veterans and active military dedicated to the memory of Leonid Hryshchenko, a soldier of the 72nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who was killed while performing a combat mission near Vuhledar, will be announced.
