In today’s world, political processes are increasingly shaped by the interaction and influence of various political actors. Ukraine is no exception, with competition for influence over political decision-making always intense. Whereas oligarchic groups used to play a key role, it is now ‘political decision-making centres’ that hold sway.

The uniqueness of our time lies in the fact that anyone who develops the right strategy can join this process. The interactive programme provides knowledge and practical skills for effective and transparent interaction with Parliament, one of the centres of political decision-making.

Course lecturer

  • Has experience working in structural units of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and in the patronage service of its leadership.
  • Based on practical cases, the logic of political decision-making, the peculiarities of interaction and the specifics of the decision-making process will be revealed.
  • This knowledge will provide a better understanding of how Parliament works and how to effectively influence its representatives in order to promote interests.

    – Entertainment break: interesting facts about Parliament.
  • Part 2 – Interacting with the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
    – Intellectual break: network theory of politics.
    – Developing and interacting with a stakeholder map. Working with the official website of the Parliament.
    – Preparing an expert proposal: useful tips and practical tools.
  • Part 3 – Simulation game ‘Committee meeting’
