How to “read” people and see beyond the obvious
When working with people, there comes a point where nothing has gone wrong yet, but results have already started to decline.
This is usually attributed to motivation, personality or circumstances. But in practice, people’s behaviour follows a clear internal logic: actions stem from a state of mind, a state of mind from thinking, and thinking from perceptions of the world around us and our beliefs.
In this lecture, we will explore how to truly interpret these processes.
How to spot the warning signs before they become problems.
How to distinguish between fatigue and a loss of engagement, resistance and burnout, and resentment and a mature decision to leave.
We’ll discuss common mistakes in interpersonal relationships that cost teams and results. And how to act differently: more accurately, more calmly, and with greater impact.
