The ‘School of Architects of the Future’ is an intensive training programme organised under the auspices of the Kyiv School of Public Administration (KSPA), aimed at developing a new generation of strategic leaders capable of shaping the future in conditions of radical uncertainty.

The programme combines the most up-to-date approaches to managing the future — from classic foresight and scenario analysis to visioning, exponential organisations, behavioural economics, artificial intelligence and Nash equilibrium modelling in geopolitics. The programme’s uniqueness lies in the integration of Andriy Dligach’s proprietary methodologies (systemic-reflective management, the DP vision model, ADea Canvas, the ‘Intellectual Reactor’) with the involvement of world-class visionaries as guest speakers.

The programme is aimed at a cross-sectoral audience: business owners and top managers, representatives of central government (ministers, central executive bodies, the Presidential Office, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers), local authorities, and leaders of civil society organisations and industry associations.

Key practical outcome: each participant develops a comprehensive strategic vision for their entity (business, region, sector, institution), broken down using the DP model into a system of strategic objectives (OKRs), and subjected to a stress test for resilience.

The programme is based on five ways of thinking about the future, forming a hierarchy ranging from passive observation to active creation:

  • Extrapolation — applying past experience to the future (the most basic approach)
  • Strategising — working with future scenarios, responding to and managing change
  • Foresight — building future scenarios, focusing attention and projecting change
  • Visionary thinking / Future development — manifesting and creating a new reality
  • Futurology — programming the future, an integrated approach.

The programme integrates methods of exponential growth, SingularityU, and a series of proprietary methods by Andriy Dligach, tested in over 2,000 strategic projects for business, government and NGOs across 7 countries:

  • System-reflective management — a proprietary approach to strategic management in complex systems
  • DP Model — construction and decomposition of a strategic vision
  • ADea Canvas — proprietary business modelling framework
  • Proprietary stakeholder mapping approach — network analysis of interests and influences
  • ‘Intellectual Reactor’ — a proprietary technology for conducting foresight sessions
  • Proprietary foresight model — integrated with classical and modern approaches.
