The largest youth forum of summer 2024, “State Builder: Youth in State Building” brought together over 600 ambitious young change-makers who inspire with their determination and hard work, motivate everyone around them with their vision, and impress with the diversity of their achievements and ideas.
During three panel discussions with representatives of government, business and the public sector, participants discussed how and why young people should get involved in government initiatives, who Ukrainian business needs today, and how young people can take advantage of support opportunities from non-governmental organisations.
Forum participants had the opportunity to hear expert opinions and advice on management in times of war, the future of Ukrainian universities, uniting Ukrainian youth inside and outside Ukraine, and the importance of responsibility for Ukraine, its defence and its future.
The programme was initiated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the All-Ukrainian Youth Centre, implemented by the Ukrainian Student League and the Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhiy Nyzhnyy, with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and funding from the Government of Japan, the MCP-Community Charitable Foundation, GIZ in Ukraine, NDI in Ukraine, and the Maksym Yefimov Charitable Foundation.
